I'm Vaishnav 👋

An embedded systems engineer who's passionate about bare metal, Rust, and stripping away the bloat between hardware and software.

I basically live in the terminal — Neovim, git, and the usual pile of CLI tools for firmware work: flashing, serial monitors, and a Wayland compositor I'm always tweaking.

When I'm not writing firmware, you'll find me studying Japanese, on a long bike ride, or planning a side quest into astrophysics.

I host Silicon Sundays, a monthly online meetup for the Embedded Rust community — completely unofficial, not affiliated with the Embedded Rust Working Group.

We bring together engineers, hobbyists, and enthusiasts to share knowledge, showcase projects, and talk about what's new in Rust for embedded systems. Whether you're a seasoned firmware engineer or just getting started, everyone's welcome.

Talks are recorded and posted on YouTube.
